Rock & Hardcore Live at Windsor

Outcry Collective - Windsor Firestation

Outcry Collective
Apr 10 2009
Firestation
Windsor

Days Of Last is a new night, intended to turn up the volume at The Firestation, presenting some of the most incendiary live acts on the scene.  Booked and promoted by 21 year old Slough resident and avid music fan Kane Leighton Pope, the first event features Outcry Collective, Lavotchkin and From Hostile Hands…

Outcry Collective are a well established four piece rock ‘n’ roll band based in the UK. Some of the hardest workers on the scene they have garnered a massive live following from relentlessly pounding the circuit, sharing the stage along the way
with legendary names such as From Autumn To Ashes, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, A Day To Remember, Rolo Tomassi, Young Guns. They are currently touring with noise merchants Blackhole.  They are signed to ‘visible
noise’ records, home to the likes of Lostprophets and Bring Me The Horizon. This is what the press are saying about them..“Showing more viciousness and attitude than the openers they brought a sound that took on board hints of Gallows, Cancer
Bats and The Bronx; heavy but ultimately catchy with it” – Hardrockhouse.com

“Fast-paced belting hard rock without the metallic weight, as if Every Time I Die had walked into Deep Purple’s rehearsal room and started playing their instruments.” – Metal Hammer

There ain’t no party like an Outcry Party” – Kerrang!

With >>> Lavotchkin

Lavotchkin are a 5 piece from the north of England, theirs is a darker sound than the headliners, following on from a number of successful EP releases they are soon to be releasing their debut album. No strangers to the stage they have toured with the likes of The Hope Conspiracy, Rise and Fall, Doomriders, Gallows, Bring Me The Horizon, The Chariot, Architects, The Ghost Of A Thousand,  Blacklisted, The Red Chord, Walls Of Jericho, Rolo Tomassi and  Bossk.  From Hostile Hands Local lads set for the big time, Screamo influenced punk with a rough edge and razor sharp sound.

Exciting Rock n Roll- Live in Windsor

Velvet Hearts at Old Ticket Hall Windsor

Velvet Hearts
Apr 10 2009
Old Ticket Hall
Windsor

THE VELVET HEARTS were born in 2007. Frustrated with the industry, the band started posting live performances of their gigs on the website YouTube. These videos achieved phenomenal success, notching up 300,000 hits in just six weeks,
gathering more subscribers than megastars Gwen Stefani and Gorillaz.

Their unique style, killer hooks and emotive lyrics are a result of Newman and Jones’ songwriting partnership, a journey that began in the music room in their early school days. The ballsy rock edged sound of The Hearts certainly pays homage to rootsy rock’n’roll, but they are more than just a blues-rock band, their songs are stooped in emotion and offer the listener something more than your token ‘rock band’.

Grammy award winning producer Mark Pastoria stumbled across the band on YouTube and word of The Velvet Hearts spread to his studio in Motown. Only a few weeks later The Velvet Hearts flew to Detroit and recorded their debut album ’Into The World’.

Rockers Juicy Lucy Return-   in Staines

Juicy Lucy at Dog & Partridge - Staines

Juicy Lucy
Apr 12 2009
Dog & Partridge
Staines

12th  April JUICY LUICY    Dog & Partridge

Following a very successful relaunch of the band on an unsuspecting public on 16th February 2005, held at the famous Eel Pie Club in Twickenham, April 2005 saw the band setting out to gig across the UK. Kicking off supporting Saxon and Wishbone Ash in front of a crowd of 4000, they played at venues from Plymouth to Aberdeen and back again. Whether playing to long time fans from the ’70s or to student audiences the response was the same; ecstatic!
